For Nazeer Veliyil, success has never been defined only by business achievements, but by the lives we are able to touch along the way.
Born and raised in Kerala, India, he grew up with the values of integrity, hard work, humility and compassion. These principles guided his entrepreneurial journey in the automotive industry, where he went on to build businesses across the Middle East and the United Kingdom.
But the most meaningful chapter of his life began with his son, Nihal.
Nihal’s journey with autism transformed Nazeer’s understanding of life, success and purpose. Through the challenges, small victories and years of learning as a parent, he came to understand the realities faced by families raising children with autism and developmental differences — particularly the difficulty of accessing consistent, quality therapy and professional support.
That personal experience became a larger purpose.
Nazeer established the Nihal Veliyil Foundation with a simple belief:
“Every child deserves quality care, every parent deserves hope, and no family should feel that they are walking this journey alone.”
This vision led to the creation of Spectrum Hearts, a multidisciplinary therapy centre providing professional therapies and developmental support to children with autism and other developmental challenges completely free of cost.
Spectrum Hearts represents more than therapy. It is a place where children are understood for who they are, parents find strength and guidance, and families discover hope for the future.
Nazeer’s humanitarian commitment also extends to special education, healthcare, community welfare and initiatives supporting people facing difficult circumstances. For him, philanthropy is not an occasional act of charity; it is a responsibility.
His leadership philosophy remains simple:
“True leadership is not measured by how many people work for you, but by how many lives become better because of what you do.”
Looking ahead, his vision is to help create a society where every child with autism or developmental challenges has access to quality intervention, education, dignity and opportunity — irrespective of financial circumstances.
At the heart of this mission remains the person who inspired it all: Nihal.
